Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats breakfast before coming to school. Students must be on-time, as we will be starting testing promptly at 8:45 A.M.
Due to testing, homework will be very light. Students will pick back up their daily homework after spring break.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know!
Have a great week!
P.S. Keep selling those raffle tickets! The Spring Fling is this Saturday!

I can hardly believe that we are nearing the end of February! As we get ready for the start of another month, we will also be getting ready to start up some new units. Students will be working in literature circles with a Roald Dahl novel, exploring fractions, and also learning more about weather. With each of these new units, will come more project based activities. Many of these things will be completed in class, but if your child begins to fall behind, some things may be sent home for homework. Please make sure to check in with your child about their daily happenings!
Have a great week and don't forget to read this week's Crews News!
Happy President's Day!
Hope you all had a wonderful long weekend.
Just a reminder that this Thursday we have a field trip to MSI to see Charlotte's Web. Please make sure your child is to school on time and brings a lunch from home. We will be eating lunch in the classroom when we return from the trip.
Don't forget to check out this week's Crews News to see what else we will be doing this week!
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all were able to enjoy the snow this weekend! We have many things going on this week. Please make sure to check out the Crews News to see this week's happenings.
* This week is Kindness Week at school. Make sure to ask your child each day how they showed kindness to someone else.
* Wednesday is Valentine's Day. We will be decorating bags in class to hold valentines. If your child would like to pass out valentines, make sure they have enough for the entire class. We have 27 students in our class.
* Field trip slips and monies are due by the end of this week. If we do not have a slip, your child will not be able to attend our field trip on 2/22.
Have a great week!
We are finally half way through the school year!! This next quarter we will be trying out some new things and giving students more opportunities for independent research projects and center based learning. Make sure to check out this week's "Crews News", to see what we will be doing this next week in our classroom.
Due to students not getting a chance to review for the Social Studies Northeast Region test on Wednesday, the test has been moved till Monday. Students should have brought home their textbooks on Thursday. Please have students bring back books on Monday, as they are allowed to use them on their tests.
Welcome to Room 208!
