I am beyond excited to get back into the classroom tomorrow. I have missed all of my Room 208 friends and families. I look forward to seeing you all in the morning! Don't forget to bring in your spoons and interviews (if completed).
We had a great time running outside this morning for our Pride Stride! It was cold, but everyone was a trooper, and showed their Cougar Pride.
We will not be doing Wordly Wise words or spelling words this week. Instead, we will be introducing students to three root words (hydr, aqua/aqu, mar/mer). Students will be working with the following words that have one of the root words: dehydrate, hydroelectric, hydrant, aquatic, aqueduct, aquarium, aquifer, marine, marina, maritime. Students will be assessed on their understanding of the different root words. The words are also listed on their homework packet.
Don't forget to send in or e-mail me a picture of your child with their toys!
Have a great day!
Happy Saturday Everyone! Hope you are all having a nice weekend with your love ones. This week look for your child to bring home the information about their Immigration Spoons project with their homework packet. If you have questions after reading the project description, please let me know.
* Don't forget to check out this week's Crews News to see what we will be working on in class!
* There will be two assessments this week:
